J Burkholder Sr.

I was Born and raised in central Pennsylvania and have lived in central PA my entire life.  I married my wife Karyn in 1994 and together we have 6 kids and 4 grandkids.  I have always loved the outdoors and spent many hours as a kid playing in the fields and streams of central PA.  I am an avid backpacker and in 2023 I thru-hiked the Continental Divide Trail. 

I started my photography journey in 2020 to capture and share my outdoor adventures.  I quickly fell in love with every aspect of photography. I particularly enjoy photographing landscapes and wildlife. Photography is a way for me to unwind after a long work week and to practice mindfulness and connect with nature.
